Position: Customer Service Financial Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Assess clients' expenses, income, insurance coverage, financial objectives, tax status, and risk tolerance to develop personalized financial plans.
  • Client Consultations: Discuss financial goals and strategies with clients, offering expert advice in areas like insurance coverage, investment planning, cash management, and tax-efficient strategies.
  • Account Management: Oversee client accounts such as TFSA, RRSP, RESP, FHSA, and RDSP. Regularly review accounts to ensure they align with the clients' evolving financial objectives.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and interpret financial summaries, investment performance reports, and income projections to guide clients in making informed decisions.
  • Plan Implementation: Help clients implement financial plans or refer them to trusted professionals for specialized services.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain regular communication with clients to monitor changes in their financial status and adjust plans accordingly. Build and maintain a strong client base through ongoing relationship management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Holding LLQP, CIFC, or CSC certifications is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in financial services, sales, or customer service is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of financial products and terminology.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and financial management tools.
  • Sales-driven, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Other Requirements:

  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance is asset.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends, depending on the needs of the financial institution
